Venezuela at the Havana International Book Fair
Venezuela participates with a broad proposal in the 31st International Book Fair in Havana, Cuba, which continues today and until the 19th of this month at the San Carlos de la Cabaña Military Historical Park.
The National Book Center (Cenal) reported that the Bolivarian Republic installed a stand with literary novelties at the venue of the event and brought a vast sample of its editorial production to the island, in addition to intervening with more than 35 activities between book presentations, conferences and workshops.

The Venezuelan proposal includes titles published by publishers that make up the Platform for Books and Reading of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture: The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila and Ayacucho Libraries.
In addition to publications from the Simón Bolívar Study Center, Commander Hugo Chávez's Institute for Higher Studies of Thought, Foundation for Culture and the Arts of the Mayor's Office of Caracas (Fundarte) and the William Lara National Assembly Editorial Fund.
Hermanos Vadell Editores, a renowned Venezuelan private publisher, also joins. Read More…
