Wildlife crime: Shark fins seized in Kébémer
More than a ton of shark fins was seized in the Louga region.
The Kébémer Customs mobile brigade carried out this referral operation on the Dakar – Saint-Louis axis. The market value of this referral is estimated at FCfa 418 million.
The Communication and Public Relations Division of Customs informs, in a press release, that this marine species is listed in Annex 2 of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) .
