Women in vulnerable situations created three short films
'Mujeres en Movimiento' is a series told through three short films and written by women who live in Ibarra, Tulcán and Esmeraldas.
' Mujeres en Movimiento ' is made up of three short films written by women who are located in the cities of Ibarra, Tulcán and Esmeraldas.
This March 25, 2022 will be the premiere in Quito, in Sala Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco of the House of Ecuadorian Culture , at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free, all you have to do is register.
This is a project carried out with the support of UN Women and the United States Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration .
The three short films are the result of the film workshops carried out by the Nómada Cine Comunitario team , in which more than 40 students participated.
Workshops
The call was for women from 20 to 40 years old, in a situation of human mobility, and a host community, who reside in Tulcán, Ibarra, and Esmeraldas .
With a wide variety of registered women , both virtual and face -to-face workshops were held in each city. The production of the shorts was done through a tour of Ibarra, El Juncal, Tulcán and Esmeraldas , shooting for two days in each place along the northern corridor of Ecuador.
