Xbox Game Pass Update Brings Back Game That Was Removed Last Month
Xbox Game Pass has brought back Quantum Break after it was taken down last month. Fans were confused about the change, due to the fact Quantum Break was published by Microsoft Studios, which makes it a first-party Xbox game. Previously, gamers have been told Xbox will never remove its own games from Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass was originally launched in 2017. In 2018, Microsoft announced that first-party titles would arrive at the service on their release day and the first game to receive this treatment was Sea of Thieves. Other games that received the same treatment since then were Forza Horizon 4, Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2 among others. Since then the platform further grew, adding extra services and games such as the basic EA Play service or Riot's free-to-play games like League of Legends. With all the added content, Xbox Game Pass has now become a successful product within Microsoft with an ever-rising income, as its quarterly subscription revenue now nears $1 billion.
