YouTube Extends Access to Community Posts for All Channels
YouTube has expanded the availability of its Community Posts feature to all channels, granting creators the ability to engage with their YouTube audience through an additional interactive option. Community Posts reside on your YouTube channel, offering a text-based method to inform your subscribers about updates and important notes, similar to various social media platforms.
With the expansion of Community Posts, YouTube aims to enhance the sense of community and facilitate meaningful connections between creators and their viewers. By providing a platform for regular updates and interactions, content creators can now establish a more inclusive and interactive space for their followers.
To access advanced features, you can navigate to Studio > Settings > Channel > Feature eligibility and sign up. Alternatively, within the YouTube app, you can tap the plus sign, select "create a post," and if you haven't yet gained access to advanced features, you will be guided through the verification process.
Over the past year, YouTube has introduced a variety of features to enhance Community Posts, including polls, quizzes (currently available on Android and soon to be available on iOS), disappearing updates, and more. These additions provide multiple avenues for engaging with your YouTube community and can be a valuable asset in strengthening your presence on the platform.
It is advisable to give Community Posts a try, as the option may not be visible in your version of YouTube or YouTube Studio at the moment, but it will be introduced in the near future.
