Zimbabwe International Film Festival Set For Mid-September As They Open Call For Submissions
Preparations for the 2022 edition of the Zimbabwe International Film Festival are underway and gathering momentum. Running from 14 to 17 September 2022, under the theme #Reconnecting, this year’s festival is their effort to reconnect with their partners and their audiences and help them reconnect to each other, as they emerge from the challenges of the past two years as a result of the global health crisis.
This year's festival programme will be a showcase of quality films from local, regional and international filmmakers and production houses, against the backdrop of workshops and activities lined up as follows:
Day 1 - Trade Day
Day 2 - Career Day
Day 3 - Industry Development (Film Forum) Day Day 4 - Fun Day/Reel Kidz Fiesta
The main festival activities will be at the ZIFFT Hub at 2 Canterbury Road, Kensington, Harare. They are also taking the Festival to several other venues around the country, as well as to the global audience, #Reconnecting with as many of the audiences and communities that have been part of ZIFF in the past while engaging with new audiences and talent.
