Box Office: Here's How Local Films Fared During Eid Holidays
Despite a slow start on first day, Eid releases picked up pace on day two and then maintained it on third day of Eid. The overall performance of local films over Eid holidays remain on good side.
Ghabrana Nahi Hai
“Ghabarana Nahi Hai” lead the boxoffice over the Eid holidays. The Saba Qamar, Zahid Ahmed and Syed Jibran starrer collected 95 lacs PKR on first day, 1.47 crore PKR on second day and 1.23 crore PKR on third day, taking the three day total to 3.65 crores PKR.
Dum Mastam
“Dum Mastam” remained second choice at box office over the holiday period. The Imran Ashraf starrer, according to Boxoffice Detail, has collected 65 lacs PKR on day one, 1.11 crore PKR on day two and 1.08 crore PKR on third day. The film has minted 2.84 crores PKR over the three days of Eid.
Parde Mein Rehne Do
Hania Amir and Ali Rehman Khan starrer “Parde Mein Rehne Do” remained third choice at ticket window over the Eid holidays. The Wajahat Rauf directed collected 44 lacs PKR on day one, 76 lacs PKR on day two and 75 lacs PKR on day three. Film’s three days gross stands at 1.95 crore PKR. Read More…
