Contest on the use of color opens opportunities for university students
The ColorLife Trends university contest invites students to develop their creativity through the use of color in interior design, design and architecture
Comex presented the seventh edition of the ColorLife Trends University Contest , which invites students from Mexico and Guatemala to expand their portfolio, creating designs based on the trends of 2022 to demonstrate how color is a tool that improves our lives.
The "Community" category was included in the contest for the first time , which seeks to contribute to the recovery of spaces dedicated to improving health, education or decent housing for communities in vulnerable situations. Within this category, the participants searched for spaces such as: schools, nurseries, clinics or nursing homes that need to be remodeled.

The proposals were reviewed according to the category to which they were subscribed by the Comex ColorLife Trends panel of creative experts made up of: the industrial designer Luis Arredondo , the industrial designer Gabriel Arredondo , the designer and director of style Andrés Catalina , the interior designer Olga Hanono and gallery owner Montse Castanón , professionals who, in addition to choosing the winners, provided valuable feedback on the submitted projects.
