Dejan Đinović, a 25-year-old suspect, has been arrested by officers of the Podgorica Security Department in connection with the murder of Zoran Nikolov, aged 44. The arrest took place in the Zeta municipality, as confirmed by an official statement from the Police Directorate.
According to reports, Đinović is suspected of fatally shooting Nikolov, whose previous surname was Ajković, around 3 p.m. yesterday in Zeta. The Police Directorate has been actively pursuing the suspect as part of their ongoing investigation into the murder.
The official statement from the Police Directorate noted, "In continuation of the activities of the Police Directorate officers to locate the suspect in the criminal offense of murder, this morning, officers of the Podgorica Security Department arrested D.Đ., a suspect in the criminal offense of murder to the detriment of ZN. The named person will be taken to the competent prosecutor within the legal deadline for further jurisdiction."
