While all familiar faces were included, new coach Rui Vitoria also opted to pick some inexperienced players for his first two games in charge.
Pharco FC midfielder Mahmoud Hamada, Ahly's full-back Karim Fouad and Pyramids' attacking midfielder Eslam Eissa and defender Osama Galal could all make their debuts.
Jeddah-based midfielder Tarek Hamed and Alanyaspor striker Ahmed Kouka, who were both named in Vitoria's preliminary squad after a lengthy absence, were retained in the final roster.
However, Ipswich Town's Sam Morsy was left out despite being included in the provisional squad.
The central midfielder, who plays in the third tier of English football, has not tasted any international action since October 2018. The 30-year-old, who made his Egypt debut in 2016, has seven international caps.
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah leads a frontline that also includes Nantes striker Mostafa Mohamed, Wolfsburg winger Omar Marmoush and Masry's newly-signed striker Marwan Hamdi.
Five Zamalek players were also included in Egypt's squad, including winger Ahmed Zizo and central midfielder Emam Ashour, even though the Cairo giants have African Champions League commitments.
They beat Chad's Elect-Sport 2-0 away in the first leg of the Champions League first preliminary round on Sunday and will have to do without the five men when they play the return leg in Cairo next week.
Egypt will play Niger and Liberia on 23 and 27 September respectively.
The Pharaohs, who failed to reach the Qatar World Cup finals after an agonising shootout loss to Senegal in a two-legged playoff in March, will also face Belgium in another friendly in November.
