The draft law enhancing the state's gas security in connection with the situation on the gas market provides for the extension by the end of 2027 of the obligation of the President of the ERO to approve tariffs for the sale of gas to domestic consumers and public benefit institutions.
The draft also provides for the suspension of the so-called exchange obligation - the obligation to sell gas through the exchange - in the event of a crisis announcement, or the possibility of changing the level of this obligation in 2022 and 2023 by the minister responsible for energy. It is also assumed that the minister may declare a crisis state for a specified period within the meaning of the Regulation of the European Parliament and the EU Council on measures to ensure the security of gas supplies.
The proposed regulations are also intended to extend the period in which the mandatory gas reserves should be delivered to the gas system from 40 to 45 days.
The ministers will also deal with the project on the creation of the Central Asylum for Animals. predators taken from smugglers in the course of conducted proceedings. The asylum would be established in the Chojnów forest district near Warsaw, in the town of Warszawianka, on the land of the State Treasury.
Currently - as it is written - there are two centers for confiscated animals in the country. These are: the asylum for reptiles at the Municipal Zoological Garden in Warsaw and the border center for quarantine and detention of animals illegally brought into the Schengen area at the Zoological Garden of Stefan Miller in Zamość. However, it was indicated that the number of animals housed in these units exceeds their housing capacity, moreover, these gardens are not adapted to accommodate all animals, in particular predators, primates and ungulates.
The government will also deal with the draft amendment to the act on supporting the development of telecommunications networks and services. It provides for the creation of a public system with information on the availability of the Internet. The regulations are also to allow for the designation of the so-called broadband coordinators who would represent local governments on issues related to the development and maintenance of broadband networks.
