Greek Artist Denny Theocharakis to Display Works at CLIO Art Fair New York
The painter and photographer Denny Theocharakis is presenting her work at CLIO Art Fair 2022 in New York.
After her latest successful, painting and photography, solo exhibition “the silence of the glance” that took place in Athens, Greece in 2021 and her recent participation at Start Art Fair Seoul 2022, Denny Theocharakis crosses the Atlantic to present her work at the CLIO Art Fair NEW YORK.
CLIO Art Fair NEW YORK is a significant meeting point of independent artists from around the globe, organized for the 13th consecutive year in New York. It is a lively art benchmark where collectors, critics and art lovers fruitfully interact with edgy contemporary, emerging and mid-career, independent artists, engraving new artistic paths.
Denny Theocharakis participates with her personal distinct, uncompromising and eloquent script. Inspired from her travels in various places around the world, she is transformed into a contemporary intercultural wanderer, a creative channel of interaction between the world and ourselves. Her multi-dimensional compositions are enriched with forms, figures and symbols, which are depicting stimuli of everyday life around the world, mixing realistic with fantastical scenes. Her visual narratives are transfigured into design confrontations expressing the agony’s cries of the humanity, which is shocked by the big social events of today, the war, the pandemic.
One of her paintings has been selected from CLIO Art Fair to be featured in the special section “Maybe I am Your Mother. Who is generating Who?” curated by Asya Rotella, dedicated to highlight the anguished, almost antagonistic relationship of the modern human being with technology. Read More...
