The 2022 Jem Hall windsurfing clinic pro coaching holiday to Brazil at the world class windsurfing venue of Jericoacoara in November and December is now taking pre bookings. For intermediate to advanced windsurfers wishing to work on a range of techniques to improve your your stance, gybes, transitions, freestyle and all round wave sailing skills plus jumping, freestyle, and manoeuvres including 360s, vulcans, spock and the elusive forward loop for those ready and willing!
Course details
With a group of 10 windsurfers of similar ability you will be able to enjoy one to one coaching with Jem and enjoy the company of a holiday focussed on getting you windsurfing and wave sailing to the max. There's time for relaxing off the water too and enjoy the laid back lifestyle and infamous nightlife in Jeri.
Throughout this 9 night, 7 day clinic, Jem will be coaching through the use of simulators, on-water coaching and video coaching.
The course content will be relevant to the ability level for that week and individual needs but generally covers:
â–º Stance earlier planing, faster sailing, both up and downwind, better control.
â–º Tacking Nailing this very useful and fundamental skill.
â–º Carve Gybes From improving your turns to getting that elusive planing gybe.
â–º Freestyle Introduction and improving with lots of new and useful tricks.
â–º Waves Get out, get in, wave selection, riding with style.
â–º Jumping Experience your first air time, try some forwards, learn to Vulcan or any other stunts you fancy.
Typical Course Level
Intermediate to Advanced
To get the best out of this clinic you will need to be sailing sub 100 litre boards in strong winds and open seas and be making some of your gybes competently! Jem will demonstrate and teach a range of moves from 360s to loops, vulcans to spocks.
