A program will be developed in the celebration of the La Chinita Fair, which begins this October 21, with the lighting of lights, Christmas tree and manger, together in the municipalities, to receive Christmas; The activities extend until the Christmas festivities, which this year include Christmas bonus masses until December 24.
To organize all the fair and traditional commemorations, the Zulia COFEZ Festivities Commission was created by decree of the Government of Zulia, made up of María Antonieta Rincón, Secretary of Administration of the Government of Zulia state, Andreina Pineda, president of the commission and Karelia Barón, executive secretary.
The commission will have the responsibility of planning, coordinating, directing and executing all Zulian festivities: fairs, holidays, national dates; to strengthen and recover Zulian traditions and customs.
They form a multidisciplinary team for the La Chinita Fair
The Commission is made up of various private companies, institutions, representatives of the religious sector, mayors, unions and social organizations, among others.
"The objective is to add, artists, musicians, those who create content can present their proposal, projects," explained María Rincón.
Andreina Pineda, president of the Commission, stressed that "a deployment is coordinated with the regional and municipal security and public order bodies to guarantee protection, security and the proper development of the events." Read More…
