Laura Thorn, who will represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, visited the producers of “La poupée monte le son” in Paris while returning from postcard filming in Switzerland. Her performance is highly anticipated, as she will take the stage in the second half of the second semi-final on May 15.
We had the opportunity to speak with Laura at the Luxembourg Song Contest 2025. You can watch the interview here.
Luxembourg has a rich history with the Eurovision Song Contest, being one of the seven countries that participated in the inaugural event in 1956. Over the years, Luxembourg has participated in the contest 37 times, achieving remarkable success with five victories, the last of which was in 1983.
The country withdrew from the contest after 1993, citing financial concerns, and came close to returning in 2004 but ultimately decided against it. After a 31-year absence, Luxembourg made its return to the Eurovision stage in 2024, reigniting excitement among fans and participants alike.
With the release of the revamped “La poupée monte le son,” Laura Thorn is poised to make a significant impact at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. As Luxembourg continues to embrace its musical heritage, fans eagerly await her performance and the potential for a new chapter in the country’s Eurovision journey.
