Lara Real Estate Chamber: Sales operations grew 11% in 2022
Purchase, sales and rental operations in the Lara real estate market have increased by 11%, according to Marco Asuaje Torrealba, president of the regional Real Estate Chamber, who stated that despite the COVID-19 pandemic, This sector has had significant growth in the last three years.
Asuaje pointed out that the data handled by the chamber's statistics committee show that the greatest movement, around 75%, has been in the axis from Vargas Avenue to the eastern part of Barquisimeto, while in the Palavecino municipality there has been a growth from 23% to 26% in the purchase and sale of real estate.
"This is because there is no bank financing or mortgage loans, which means that most operations are carried out by people with their own resources or with the cash flow of their businesses," Asuaje said.
He shared this information when announcing the Expo Inmobiliaria Lara 2022, which will be held on October 21 and 22 at the Lidotel Barquisimeto facilities, with free admission for everyone, whose objective is for people to know how the sector has grown, as well as offers, not only in the area of buying and selling, but in everything related to remodeling, decoration, interior design, appliances, hardware, blinds and other local businesses.
Asuaje Torrealba spoke about the importance of reactivating bank mortgage loans, a request that they have made to the National Executive without any response. He mentioned that in Caracas, promoters have begun to build buildings and offer private financing for 10 years, which they want to be replicated in the interior of the country.
