Lego exhibition with 150 sculptures coming to Singapore
Singapore is set to host the Art of the Brick exhibition once again, featuring 150 sculptures made from a staggering one million Lego bricks. This exhibition, recognized as one of CNN’s Top 10 global must-see exhibitions, is returning to the city for the first time since its 2012 debut. Opening on August 31 at the Singapore Expo, the exhibition showcases the works of contemporary Lego artist Nathan Sawaya.
Among the highlights are a 20-foot T-Rex skeleton and reimagined versions of iconic artworks such as Michelangelo’s David, Van Gogh’s Starry Night, and Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. In addition to viewing these impressive sculptures, visitors can engage in the interactive Lego creation area, where they can craft their own Lego masterpieces. The exhibition also includes a Lego multimedia collection created in collaboration with award-winning photographer Dean West.
Simultaneously, Exhibition Hub, the company behind Art of the Brick, will also launch another immersive experience called Bubble Planet on the same day, offering visitors a double dose of unique and creative experiences.
