The live concert to launch the album is scheduled for Friday, May 26, at Institut Français Rwanda, Kimihurura.
Martin's Rwandan heritage and his encounters with diverse cultures during his musical journey have inspired him to create a captivating fusion of styles that transcends borders and languages. The album, consisting of eight songs, is a collection of meticulously crafted pieces that explore a range of emotions, addressing personal experiences, societal issues, and the beauty of love and resilience.
"I can only promise good music to music enthusiasts. I expect my fans to attend and celebrate music with me and other artists on stage. Music is all about sharing, and during this concert, I will be sharing the stage with various artists. To deliver the quality live music that I do, it takes collaborating with different artists, starting with my band, Kesho Band, and others who contribute to the performance," said Martin.
The singer revealed that he has been envisioning the concert for a long time and believes that now is the perfect time to bring it to fruition. He looks forward to sharing the most precious musical moment with his audience.
"When an album is released, you start to think of how you can tour (at least nationwide) to share it with all the music lovers across the country. That's basically what I am planning so far," he added.
Martin collaborated with other artists on the album, including Soul Bang from Guinea and Bill Ruzima. MadeBeats produced the album, while Bob Pro and Niz Beats handled the sound, mixing, and mastering. Deborah Humura, Peace Hoziyana, and Patrick Nyamitari were also significant contributors to the album's vocals. The entrance fee is RWF10, 000, and the first copies of the album will be sold for RWF100, 000 and above.
Nomade is Martin's sixth studio album, following his memorable releases such as 'Afro' in 2017, 'My Destiny' in 2012, 'Intero Y'Amahoro' in 2011, 'Icyo Dupfana' in 2010, and his debut album, 'Isaha ya 9,' in 2008.
