Ooredoo launches its 70-hectare reforestation campaign in the Bargou region
As part of its CSR strategy and its Tounes T3ich program, of which the environmental cause is one of the main pillars, Ooredoo Tunisia joins forces with the General Directorate of Forests, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources. , and the Green Way association to engage in a national campaign to reforest 70 hectares in the forest of Bargou ravaged by fires.

This initiative is part of the partnership agreement signed by Ooredoo Tunisia with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries last November, to support the national initiative "Charter for a Green Tunisia" launched by the Directorate General of Forests. As part of its social responsibility program, Tounes T3ich, Ooredoo Tunisia is committed to preparing a five-year program to reforest forests damaged by fires and raise awareness of the importance of preserving this botanical wealth.
Ooredoo is voluntarily involved in the national effort of forest reforestation and development of forest and plant cover for a better reconstitution of the forest ecosystem through carbon storage and the fight against global warming, preservation and development. of biodiversity, the protection of land against natural hazards, the regulation of the water cycle and the fight against soil erosion, the production of food and energy resources and the integration of local communities.
