Afro Nation Portugal

Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Afro Nation Portugal will take place from July 9 to 11 at Praia da Rocha in Portimão. This festival is a global celebration of Afrobeats and amapiano culture, uniting artists and fans from around the world. The lineup includes headliners Burna Boy and Tems, along with exciting acts like Odeal, Naza, and Franglish. The Piano People Stage will feature Scorpion Kings, DBN Gogo, and Uncle Waffles, showcasing a vibrant array of contemporary African music. In 2023, Afro Nation Portugal sold out, attracting over 40,000 attendees from 140 countries.
NOS Alive

NOS Alive, held annually in Algés near Lisbon, is renowned for its eclectic lineups and diverse musical offerings. The 17th edition will take place from July 10 to 12 at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés, featuring headliners Olivia Rodrigo, Artemas, and Kings of Leon. The festival will also showcase artists like Girl in Red, Noah Kahan, and Glass Animals. In 2024, NOS Alive sold out all three days, welcoming 165,000 attendees and hosting around 120 performances across seven stages.
Paredes de Coura

The Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival is set for August 13 to 16 in Viana do Castelo, with early announcements including Franz Ferdinand, Sharon Van Etten, and Ana Frango Elétrico. The festival will return to its picturesque location on the river beach of Toboão. Known for its independent rock roots, Paredes de Coura has grown into one of Portugal’s most celebrated music events since its inception in 1993.
