Portuguese-Brazilian duo Orfà©lia debuts in album with a video of the same name, Tudo o que movi
They met in Berlin, she from Portugal and he from Brazil. And it was on stage: guitarist, he participated in a jam session of the group where she sang. This is how Anaïs Thinon, known as Antera (born in Lagos, Algarve, in 1995), and Filipe Mattos (born in Florianópolis, in 1983) started to work together until they created a project that would later be called Orfélia and that presents itself as a project of “MPB (Brazilian Portuguese Music)”. With him, they released an EP in 2020 that began to be released in singles, first with Esse Mystery (in January of that year), then with Sábado (April), Insónia and Ofélia do Mar (both in May). This was followed, still in 2020, by Lagos(song dedicated to Antera's birthplace, distinguished in that year's Unpublished Vodafone awards) and Baba Marta. In 2022, in May, they published a single and video clip Divina Força , a step towards the album they are now releasing, the first of the duo, called Tudo O Que Move, debuting this Friday the title song in a music video directed by Rita Grazina (who signs the post-production with Antera, who is also a videographer, as well as a singer). With lyrics, composition and arrangements by Antera (vocals) and Filipe Mattos (guitar and keys), the song has the participation of musicians Lana Gasparotti (keys and synthesizer), André Morais (bass), Juninho Ibituruna (drums) and Zé Cruz (percussion and flute). The album will be presented live at B.Leza, in Lisbon, on the 2nd of November. Read More…
