President Jair Bolsonaro decorated today (8) civil and military personalities with the Order of Rio Branco, an honor granted for the services rendered to the country. The medal ceremony was held at Itamaraty, in Brasília.
The President awarded the Grand Cross degree to the First Lady, Michele Bolsonaro, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Anderson Torres, the Minister of Citizenship, João Roma, the Minister of Health, Marcelo Queiroga, the Minister of Tourism, Gilson Machado, and the Minister of the Secretariat of Government, Flávia Arruda.
The Minister of Attorney General of the Union (AGU), Bruno Bianco, the Attorney General of the Republic, Augusto Aras, and the presidents of Caixa, Pedro Guimarães, and BNDES, Gustavo Montezano, also received the honor.
The Order of Rio Branco was established in 1963 in honor of the Baron of Rio Branco, patron of Brazilian diplomacy. Read More…
