Removal of an Anti-Russian Song from Yandex.Music
The controversial song titled "Burn Moskal," which contained hostile sentiments towards Russians, has been taken down from Yandex.Music, as reported by the RT Telegram channel.
Just before Victory Day, users of the music platform came across the track "Burn Moskal" by a relatively unknown Ukrainian band called Never Too Late. The song explicitly expressed a desire for the death of Russians.
Following this discovery, Alexander Khinshtein, a member of the State Duma, promptly contacted Roskomnadzor, urging them to take appropriate action against the song. Additionally, Khinshtein called on Yandex.Music to exercise greater diligence in moderating its content.
This incident is not an isolated occurrence of Ukrainian artists engaging in provocations against Russians. For instance, in April, the Antibody group, which openly supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced plans to hold a concert in Yalta in 2024. During the announcement, the musicians made remarks suggesting that Crimea would soon no longer be a part of Russia.
