Sarangani Eagle flies back to wildlife after getting rescued from gun wounds last year
The "Sarangani Eagle" has been freed back to wildlife after it was rescued from gun wounds last year.
On Monday, the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) shared the good news with a video of the Philippine Eagle flying freely to its forest home in Maitum, Sarangani Province.
Prior to the bird's release, the PEF ensured that "extensive mobilizations" were done to ensure its safety.
Apart from checkups for the Sarangani Eagle, meetings with Barangay Ticulab volunteer forest guards, and community education and public awareness campaigns were also conducted. Read More…
