Spooktacula events in Texas for Halloween 2022
Last-minute costume preparations are a must because spooky weekend has officially arrived. With Halloween being on a Monday this year, different organizations and bars/restaurants have prepared a weekend full of events to kick off the haunted holiday.
AUSTIN
Nightmare on Gibson Street has been going on all October. It will wrap up with a DJ on Friday and Saturday night. Gibson Street Bar is also hosting its Halloween party Saturday night. Dry ice punch bowls and deadly cocktails are just some of the drinks on the menu.
Boogie it out on the dance floor at the Belmont on Friday, Oct. 28, 10 p.m. - 2 a.m. The spooky silent disco event will have three DJs providing you with different genres of music. Buy your tickets here. You must be 21+ to participate.
What is Halloween without its classic movies? Enjoy a free “Hocus Pocus” screening at the Fareground on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. You can head on over to reserve your spot on the green after 6 p.m. There will be $4 happy hour drink, popcorn, cotton candy and more.
Boo at the Zoo is a Halloween-themed, family-friendly evening. The last weekend to enjoy this extravaganza is this upcoming Friday and Saturday from 6:30 p.m. through 9 p.m. Tickets are 19.95 and can be purchased here. Children under 2 are free. Ticket entry per person includes unlimited visits at the Haunted House and a 10-minute haunted train ride. There will be no candy distribution at the zoo.
Pioneer Pumpkin Nights runs through Oct. 30. Enjoy a spectacular show by fire dancers, after glow tarot reading and a festive stroll on a path decorated with different themed pumpkin displays.
