The MS Band and Edà©n Muà±oz triumph in the US with “Hay que Hace Dineroâ€
The union of Banda MS and Edén Muñoz is definitely a success in the United States. After the publication of their joint song “Hay que Hace Dinero” last April, this week it managed to position itself in the place of honor in the Regional/Audience category, an index promoted by Monitor Latino.
The song narrates the importance of earning money to sustain life and family, as well as the need to maintain the essence of friendship and personal relationships. In the video clip, the artists appear playing poker, sporting convertibles and wearing elegant shirts and top hats.
"I don't think that money changed me, I gave him confidence and then he screwed me," they say in a fragment of the song. In the chorus, they remember that “you have to make money, first things first and then we'll see. This is the life we deserve, no less is accepted.” The video clip has been a great success, and already has more than five million views on YouTube.
Edén Muñoz, former leader of the Caliber 50 group, maintains a great friendship with the MS Band. In fact, the Sinaloan invited the group to perform with him in the US, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
Muñoz, one of the great references of Mexican regional music, announced in January his withdrawal from Caliber 50, a band that he formed in 2010. At the end of last year he already advanced his desire to start a solo career with the single “Creo en ti”, and in early 2022 he also published two other songs, “Chale” and “Chalino”.
“From my heart, I hope you like this great collaboration, family! ”, Muñoz wrote on his Instagram after the release. "Hay que hacer dinero it's everywhere thanks to you," posted the MS Band.
Both are a clear exponent of the growing popularity of regional Mexican music in the US, as was demonstrated at the Coachella 2022 festival, where both were invited. Other Latin references such as Grupo Firme, Natanael Cano or Ed Maverick also performed.
Despite his youth, Eden Muñoz (1990) is already a reference composer and producer. From a very young age, he already sang and covered songs by great composers, and at the age of eight he began to play the guitar with his brother Daniel.
After singing at family parties and entertaining local celebrations, he began his professional career on stage in 2006, where he sang and played with the Colmillo Norteño group. With them he also played the accordion, and finally ended up becoming their vocalist. Read More...
