These are the self-government schools whose students passed the eighth-grade exam the best
At the beginning of July, the District Examination Board in Kraków published information on the results of this year's eighth-grade examination, including data on individual schools. As for the capital of Lesser Poland, the list includes over 160 primary schools - both local government and private, social, run by foundations, Catholic.
Let us add that OKE gave the average results for the number of candidates above 4 (5 and more). The published data does not include candidates who are citizens of Ukraine and who came to Poland after February 24 this year.
Based on the data from OKE, we calculated the average of the three compulsory subjects taken by eighth-year students: Polish, mathematics and a modern foreign language - and since most of them pass English, we took this language into account. In the following slides, we present 21 local government schools in Krakow with the highest results. In the one where the exams went the best, the average in all subjects was 88 percent, and in the schools from the last items in our ranking - 79 percent.
