Two days with solid knowledge - 20 thematic panels, over 50 speakers: practitioners, scientists, experts in their field, and the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss, solve problems and learn about innovative solutions - all this during the 1st Local Government Conference "Time for regiON" .
The conference, scheduled for October 19-20 in Toruń , is addressed to local government officials and representatives of public administration at all levels and from every corner of the country. The program was prepared in such a way as to meet the expectations of a wide range of recipients. The issues were divided into three thematic blocks: Promotion and Communication, Economy and Finance, and Social Affairs and Administration , and conference participants will be able to freely shape their thematic path, according to their needs and interests. In addition, everyone will meet at the opening and closing panels of each day of the conference with the participation of special guests.
Among the topics discussed during the panels , there will be the most bothering local governments today, such as:
· Polish Governance and Finance for the coming years,
· cost optimization in administration,
· effective waste management,
· own energy sources in municipalities,
· space design, or
· modern public transport.
There will also be a portion of knowledge, as well as a field for discussion of Fr.
· demography and pro-family policy in communes,
· support systems for dependent people and long-term care,
· mechanisms acting on the de-marginalization of rural areas, as well
· ways of involving young residents in the life of the commune.
Conference participants will also learn, inter alia, how to effectively promote a commune outside, effectively attract investors , create outdoor campaigns and run websites that are friendly to residents, tourists and entrepreneurs. Read More…
