Traditional Croissanteria has a new (and delicious) filling to celebrate Halloween
Croissants are not exactly a delicacy of our country's traditional cuisine, but that doesn't stop them from being part of the food routine of many Portuguese people. There is no shortage of spaces offering this specialty, all with delicious proposals. The hardest part is choosing. The latest temptation celebrates Halloween and has already arrived at Croissanteria Tradicional, which opened its doors in Lisbon at the end of 2021.
It's a croissant with a special flavor: it's filled with pumpkin jam, to which you can also add pieces of walnut or toasted sliced ​​almonds, which add a crunchier touch. You can order the traditional or vegan version, both cost €2.50 each.
This special edition joins the other proposals on the menu, where croissants with egg jam with almonds (€2.10), apple and cinnamon (€2.50), Nutella (€1.90), white chocolate (2 €35), red fruits (€1.90) and strawberry (€1.90).
The letter doesn't just have sweet options. There are several suggestions that serve as a light meal: the croissant with fresh cheese, tomato and oregano (€3.20); the one with cottage cheese, pumpkin and walnut jam (3.20€) and the one with ham, parmigiano and arugula (3.80€), for example.
