We won’t compromise our remaining Ghana Premier League games - Kotoku Royals
Kotoku Royals' spokesperson, Okatakyie Afrifa, has dismissed claims that the team will intentionally lose games in the remaining matches of the 2022-2023 season after being relegated from the Ghana Premier League.
Despite Kotoku Royals' relegation to Division One football, they still have four games left, including two matches against Tamale City and Karela United, who are also battling to avoid relegation.
In a conversation with Citi Sports, Afrifa emphasized that the team would not go easy on their opponents. He stressed their commitment to professionalism and cited their performance against league leaders Aduana Stars as evidence of their determination.
"We do not condone any form of match-fixing. We will give our all and play with utmost passion in the remaining matches," said Afrifa.
He further stated that their aim is to finish the season on a high note and demonstrate that they are a competitive team.
