Ukrainian Fund of Digitized Art Launched to Preserve Cultural Heritage
The Ukrainian Fund for Digitized Art (UFDA) has been established as the first and largest open online catalog of digitized and tokenized artworks in Ukraine. Supported by Digital Original, the fund aims to ensure high quality and legal protection for digitized original works of art. The catalog currently features over 2,700 published works by more than 50 artists, showcasing centuries of Ukrainian history. The inaugural NFT auction is scheduled for February 18.
UFDA presents works from artists whose pieces are included in prestigious collections and museums worldwide, such as:
- MoMA
- Guggenheim Museum
- Art Institute of Chicago
- Ludwig Museum
- Whitney Museum
- Smithsonian American Art Museum
- Ukrainian Museum in New York
The artists represented by the fund have also sold works at renowned auction houses like Christie's, Sotheby's, and Artnet. Many have showcased their art at the Venice Biennale.
The foundation has digitized over 5,000 artworks spanning 400 years of Ukrainian history, from the 17th century to the present. These cultural treasures are preserved using high-resolution imaging and blockchain technology, ensuring their accessibility and protection for future generations.
The upcoming NFT auction will feature digital copies of works by three prominent Ukrainian artists: Zhanna Kadyrova, Nikita Kadan, and Waone Interesni Kazki. Collectors will have the opportunity to purchase these digital copies and gain exclusive rights to own a digital representation of the physical artwork, securely protected through blockchain technology. Notably, 100% of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Serhiy Prytula Foundation.
To participate in the auction, follow these steps:

Sales will be conducted via blockchain and governed by smart contracts, with security confirmed by Blaize.
