WhatsApp Introduces Highly Anticipated Functionality

WhatsApp has unveiled a much-needed feature that grants users the ability to swiftly rectify typos or reconsider their message after it has been sent. The instant messaging app is set to release this new feature, as reported by WaBetaInfo.
The feature, aptly named "edit messages," will empower users of the Desktop app to edit their messages within a generous timeframe of 15 minutes after pressing the send button. Currently, this functionality is being tested by select beta users and will soon be made available to a broader audience.
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, previously announced this feature through the official Meta channel on Instagram. Its primary purpose is to enable users to promptly address any typographical errors or reconsider their message content even after sending it.
To access this feature, users can navigate to the Microsoft Store, where it is readily available. Within the message menu, the option to edit messages will be displayed for a duration of 15 minutes following their transmission. Users can verify their eligibility for this feature by attempting to edit a sent message.
However, it is important to note that messages sent from a different device cannot be edited using this feature. The WhatsApp watcher speculates that this update might be part of a wider rollout, thereby allowing users with certain previous updates to access the same feature starting today.
