The Tunisian national football team, also known as the Carthage Eagles, is set to begin their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifying campaign on Thursday against Madagascar. This will be their first game under the new head coach, Fawzi Benzarti, who took over the reins in July.
Assistant coach Othman Najjar emphasized the importance of thoroughly studying Madagascar's attacking and defensive lines to gain a competitive edge. After facing Madagascar, Tunisia will take on The Gambia and Comoros in Group A. The game against Madagascar is scheduled to kick off on Thursday at 21h Central Africa Time.
